Russian Pecan Cookie Recipe
Russian Pecan Cookie Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
Directions for Russian Pecan Cookies
Cream butter, add sugar and mix well. Sift flour and salt together and add to butter and sugar mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Form into balls, bake on lightly greased pan 14-17 minutes at 350 degrees or until lightly browned. While warm, roll cookies in powdered sugar. Roll again when cool.

- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions for Peanut Butter Cookies
Mix the ingredients and chill in the refrigerator for an hour. Form into balls and press with a fork in a criss-cross pattern. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Makes 40 Peanut Butter Cookies.

No Flour Peanut Butter Cookie Ingredients
- 2 cups peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions for No Flour Peanut Butter Cookies
Mix all ingredients until smooth. Drop by teaspoon on a cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand on cookie sheet until firm. Remove onto waxed paper.

- 1 3/4 cups quick oats
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1 cup white flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 sticks margarine
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Directions for Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter CookiesMix dry ingredients and set aside. Cream and mix next six ingredients until well blended. Add flour mixture. Stir well, then mix chocolate chips. Bake 10 to 11 minutes at 375 degrees until lightly browned. Makes 8 dozen cookies.

- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions for Chocolate Kiss Peanut Butter CookiesCream together shortening, peanut butter, white and brown sugar. Add 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients. Shape into small balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Top each cookie with a chocolate kiss, press firmly and return to oven for 2 – 5 minutes.

- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 cups Rice Crispies
- 6 oz butterscotch chips

In a 2 quart saucepan, mix corn syrup and sugar on medium heat. Bring to a low boil. Mixture will be clear. Remove from heat. Mix in peanut butter and stir until completely melted. Add Rice Crispies. Mix until completely covered. Pour into a greased 13 X 9″ pan. Melt both chips and pour over bars and spread. Cut with a sharp knife when chocolate hardens. Makes 24 bars.
White Sugar Cookies
White Sugar Cookie Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions for White Sugar CookiesIn a small bowl, sift flour, cream of tartar and baking soda together. Set aside. In a large bowl, cream butter and gradually add sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add vanilla and nutmeg, then add dry ingredients. Blend well until dough is soft. Chill dough in refrigerator for several hours. Roll thin on well floured table top. Cut with cookie cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 425 degrees for about 8 minutes. When cooled, frost and decorate as desired.

Old-Fashioned Sugar Cookie Ingredients
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
Directions for Old Fashioned Sugar CookiesMix and sift flour and salt. Cream butter well. Add sugar gradually and continue creaming until light and fluffy. Add well beaten eggs and extracts and mix. Dissolve baking soda in sour cream. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with cream mixture. Chill for 2 to 3 hours. Roll 1/8″ thick. Cut with floured cookie cutter, then sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes.

- 1 cup margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3 1/2 cups flour
Directions for Sugar CookiesCream together sugar, eggs and margarine. Sift dry ingredients together, add alternately with sour cream. Don’t make too stiff. Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet. Grease the bottom of a glass and dip in sugar. Use it to flatten each cookie. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen Sugar Cookies.

- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup oil
- 5 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions for Grandma’s Sugar CookiesCombine flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar in a bowl. In electric mixer beat butter, add the sugar, powdered sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla. Add in the dry ingredients. Form balls of dough and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Press cookies into flat rounds using the bottom of a water glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 -12 minutes or until the cookies are a very pale golden brown on the bottom.
